The World Poker Tour unveiled its schedule for events planned until the end of the year. After many exciting events planned for the summer, Season XIX of the WPT Main Tour continues until the end of the year.
WPT Unveils Events Schedule for North America
Last week, the World Poker Tour presented its schedule for upcoming events in North America. It looks like after the record-breaking Season XVIII, the WPT is returning with full force, and an action-packed season is ahead for poker fans. Similar to last season, the WPT is bringing back many familiar live tournaments, as well as an online event.

In a statement, Angelica Hael, VP of global tour management for the WPT shared her excitement by saying that live poker is coming back at full strength within the World Poker Tour. Furthermore, she stressed that the WPT is incredibly excited to present its Season XIX schedule. Last but not least, Hael thanked all of the players and casino partners for their support during the challenging 2020.

Adam Pliska, CEO of the WPT shared his excitement by saying that the Tour continues to gain momentum with the lifting of restrictions in North America. Furthermore, he acknowledged that following last season’s strong numbers, the WPT is preparing to meet high demand with the upcoming events which are leading to the tour’s twentieth anniversary next year.
Poker Fans Can Expect an Exciting Summer
The WPT Main Tour’s first stop is Seminole Hard Rock Tampa in Florida. The WPT Seminole Hard Rock Tampa main event launches on June 18 and will run through June 22. Coinciding with the same dates, WPT will also launch a special online event – the WPT Heads Up Poker Championship by Poker King.
After Florida, the next stop of the Tour is at the Venetian in Las Vegas, Nevada. The WPT Venetian main event will run from July 2 through July 7. Shortly after that, the Venetian will host another WPT tournament – the WPT DeepStacks. The main event will run from July 9 through July 13.
Later in the summer, the WPT Main Tour continues at Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma. The main event will run from July 23 through July 27. After that, the next stop for Season XIX is Bestbet Poker Simulcast & Racing in Jacksonville, Florida. The WPT Bestbet Scramble main event will run from August 27 through August 31.
More WPT Tour Events Set until the End of 2021
In September, the WPT Tour continues at Live! Casino and Hotel in Hanover, Maryland. The WPT Maryland at Live! Casino main event starts on September 24 and will run through September 28. After that the WPT Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open in Hollywood, Florida rolls on November 18. The event’s main dates are from November 26 through November 30. Back in November 2019, the same event accumulated a record with 988 entries. This year, WPT expects to easily surpass this number.
In December, the WPT Tour continues with an event at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. The WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic rolls out on December 2 and will run through December 19. The main event dates are going to be from December 15 through December 19.
