Wazdan continues to expand, with Italy becoming its latest entry market as the company teams up with content aggregator Tuko Productions.
Italy Welcomes Wazdan with Tuko Productions
Casino supplier Wazdan has grown its footprint in Italy through a strategic partnership with content aggregator Tuko Productions. Thanks to this alliance, Wazdan will be able to launch its portfolio of over 40 games and make them available to Italian customers.
Tuko Production has been live in Italy since 2016, allowing it to get to know the local market and position itself with some of the leading operators there. As a result, Wazdan would be able to debut a number of its flagship games, including Larry the Leprechaun, Black Horse Deluxe, Sizzling 777 Deluxe, Magic Stars 3 and 9 Lions, across Italy’s thriving iGaming market.
The move is important for Wazdan, as Italy’s online gaming market has shown no signs of slowing down even though the government has adopted more restrictive measures towards sports sponsorships that involve a gambling partner and public advertisement of gambling products.
There have been calls to reverse some of those measures, even temporarily, to allow the country to benefit from the additional revenue that would stream through gambling-related ads and partnerships and thus offset some of the impacts the pandemic has had on the public purse and sports.
Bringing Originality and Quality to Italy’s iGaming Market
Meanwhile, Tuko Productions is planning to host the full portfolio of Wazdan Hold the Jackpot slots, which includes Fortune Reels. Wazdan chief commercial officer Andrzej Hyla said that the company was committed to continuing building upon its list of partners, adding:
“Our products have been well received by players all over the globe, and we look forward to working closely with Tuko Productions going forward.”
Tuko Productions sales director Vincenzo Tancredi commended the quality and originality of Wazdan’s gaming products. “From iconic retro-style slots to engaging Hold the Jackpot hits, there’s something for everyone, and we can’t wait to add their content to our aggregation offering,” Tancredi explained.
Wazdan recently broke ground into the United States, Switzerland, and Belarus and continues to scout new opportunities.
