Estonia’s Meistriliiga Added to Wagerr’s Markets
Blockchain sports betting platform Wagerr continues to add to and expand its content offer with the Meistriliiga, the highest soccer division in Estonian football. The league will carry on through November with a mix of professional and amateur teams and players participating. The market is now available to bet on Wagerr, which has kept steady results despite the global slowdown in professional sports.
During last week’s update covering the period between May 4 – May 10, Wagerr reported that the betting volume had reached 3,030, 160 $WGR during the week. There was a total of 227 events consumers had bet on with the biggest burn amounting to 130,377 $WGR.
Meanwhile, the biggest mint had been placed on ENERGETIK-BGU MINSK, fetching 117,743 $WGR. The event that saw the most interest was esports, with Team Spirit & Team uNiQUE battling it out in Dota 2, with a total of 388,998 $WGR placed.
As of May 10, Wagerr’s market cap stood at $4,441,387. Last week’s events brought in action worth $69,875. Wagerr has executed many content bolstering moves to help set off the lack of sports.
On May 9, the platform introduced sports betting markets on Bundesliga 1 & 2 in anticipation of the leagues’ return a week after. Even earlier in May, Wagerr focused on adding individual esports events, including Loot.bet and ESL One: Road to Rio.
