Veteran Brand Builder Michael Nicklas Joins eSports Technologies
Michael Nicklas, a veteran in brand building and strategic corporate development, has joined the Board of Directors of eSports Technologies, the global provider of eSports wagering products announced Tuesday. The new member of the Board is expected to drive further growth for the company due to his extensive knowledge of audiences.
Forward-Thinking Legacy Brand Builder
Nicklas is bringing to the company his reputation of a forward-thinking legacy brand builder, having worked with brands such as Nike, Reebok, Speedo, Ralph Lauren, Jennifer Lopez, Anne Klein, Adrienne Vittadini, Realtree, Pery Ellis and Wildfox Couture over the past 30 years, and garnered knowledge of audiences.
“I am excited to work with the Esports Technologies team to accelerate their esports-first platform into a powerful and recognized consumer brand. I look forward to working closely with them and the wider Esports Technologies team to ensure its long-term value to its shareholders.”
Michael Nicklas
Michael Nicklas has a record of maintaining growth for brands at which he had worked, having an aptitude for customer behavior and utilizing customer-focused innovative strategic, marketing and product initiatives.
“Michael Nicklas brings an incredible background to the board as an executive leader building some of the most influential brands. I’m confident Mike will have an immediate positive impact in creating new opportunities for Esports Technologies.”
Aaron Speach, CEO, Esports Technologies
Boasting expertise in recognizing and interpretation of consumer trends within retail, e-commerce and direct-to-consumer models, Nicklas contributed to multi-millions in revenue for his previous employers under his leadership.
Star Advisory Team
His addition to the Board of Directors at eSports Technologies will further boost the star advisory team, following the recent addition of music and esports entrepreneur Clinton Sparks and founder of Atari Nolan Bushnell.
Bringing his creative talents, entrepreneurial insights and a proven track record of success in music, lifestyle, business and esports, Sparks, who joined the company last month, was tasked with advisory duties with regards to strategic partnership opportunities.
Nolan Bushnell, a veteran in video gaming and founder of the first “technology incubator” dedicated to start-up tech companies, Catalyst Technologies Venture Capital Group, joined eSports Technologies in December, to utilize his vision and creativity and help the company position its product and services by providing advice on product initiatives.
With 4 years experience as an analyst, Julie—or ‘Jewels’, as we aptly refer to her in the office—is nothing short of a marvel-worthy in her attention to the forex and cryptocurrency space as she quickly became the first pick to co-pilot education to the masses with Mike.
