The battle for a top 4 finish continues in the Premier League. Arsenal is currently sitting in the #4 position with 66 points, but Tottenham is not far behind. The spurs are fifth with 62 points. As there are only three more games for each team to play before the 2021-22 EPL season wraps up, things can still change in the standings.
If Arsenal wins, however, the Gunners will pretty much secure a position that leads to the Champions League next season. If they lose, the Spurs will come to just one point behind. Knowing all this, it’s clear that both teams are going to give their utmost on Thursday.

Tottenham Boosted by a Good Result Last Weekend
Last Saturday, Tottenham played 1-1 with Liverpool at Anfield. Even though the Reds were seen as huge favorites ahead of the match, it was Tottenham who had a lead until very late in the game.
The draw means that Liverpool’s dream of the EPL title might have come to an end. It also means that Tottenham is still in the game for a top 4 finish, which would mean playing in the Champions League next season.
To get to the #4 position, the Spurs have no other option but to beat Arsenal and hope for the best. The good news is that they sure seem to have the manpower to pull it off. After a slow start to the season, the Spurs captain Harry Kane is now playing at a top level, and the same goes for most of his teammates. Unfortunately for Tottenham, pretty much the same goes for Arsenal.
Arsenal’s Youngsters Playing Top Soccer
Mikel Arteta has done an exceptional job at the helm of Arsenal, for which the club directors rewarded him with a contract extension last week. No surprise there as Arteta might be the key man for Arsenal’s success this season.
In 2022, Arsenal doesn’t have any superstars on the roster. Instead, this team’s core is made up of youngsters who don’t have too much experience. To prove my points, each of Arsenal’s top three scorers in the Premier League is younger than 24 – Bukayo Saka (20), Emile Smith Rowe (21), and Martin Odegaard (23).
These guys are playing fantastic soccer in 2022, but there is a worry that more experienced Tottenham players might outsmart them on Thursday.
Tottenham vs Arsenal Prediction
The betting odds are moving in Tottenham’s favor. Although the Spurs aren’t odds-on favorites, they sure look more likely to win. It’s just that their players know how to play big games like this one. Arsenal’s youngsters don’t have as much experience.
Pick: Tottenham to win; over 2.5 goals
