TonyBet Details Plans for Netherlands Gaming Launch

TonyBet, prominent sports and casino operator, has been cleared to launch in the Netherlands earlier this month. The company has received approval from the Dutch Gaming Authority but it will not launch immediately, as the company’s website, tonybet.nl, is expected to go live next year, the company confirmed in their latest update. The company will be launching in collaboration with SoftLabs, which will power the operator in the Dutch iGaming market, bringing along an outstanding selection of games and products.

TonyBet Has Big Plans for the Dutch iGaming Market

TonyBet will also be present in the sports betting vertical and make sure that it delivers a sterling experience across the board. The company will maintain a local office in Utrecht.

Commenting on this launch, TonyBet country manager Jesse Pas welcomed the opportunity to expand in yet another important market. A Dutch gambling license by itself speaks volumes, Pas assured, and explained that there is still room in the market for TonyBet’s unique proposition and product. Pas added:

We want to accomplish this by not putting the focal point on the product, but also on what can our brand add to the total gambling experience, on- and offline.

TonyBet Group CEO Victor Troitsin was similarly pleased with the new license acquisition. He noted that the company has already been able to break into a number of important markets, including Canada, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Spain, and the Baltic States.

Troitsin assured that TonyBet remains committed to providing Dutch players with safe, secure, and innovative gameplay. The Group has more than 12 years of international experience that will be adapted to the specific needs and preferences of the Dutch iGaming market.

TonyBet has been present in multiple markets and it has always sought to contribute locally. In October, the operator teamed up with the Latvian men’s handball team. TonyBet also managed to break ground in Ontario, Canada this year.
