Purchase to Aid in Growth and Innovation
Sports data and AI technology market leader Stats Perform has announced that it has successfully acquired SmartReels and SmartRatings from Thuuz Sports. According to Stats Perform, the technology will be a strong addition to its already robust portfolio and will open new opportunities for customers.
Stats Perform CEO Carl Mergele has stated that the purchase would help the company keep pace with the changing world of sports broadcasting. According to him, fan engagement has become of one the most challenging aspects in the industry. There is significant pressure for companies to provide quick and interesting alerts and highlight reels in order to keep viewer attention.
Mr Mergele is confident that Thuuz Sports’ products will go a long way in tackling these challenges and securing increased engagement across customers’ platforms.
Thuuz Sports’ AI-Powered Platforms
SmartReels and SmartRatings are AI-powered and fully automated platforms designed to enhance and maximize viewer engagement.
SmartReels is an automatic highlight reel generator that can be utilized both for live and prerecorded games. The generated reels can be exported and applied to a number of other platforms, including websites and editing software. SmartReels includes a multitude of tools and settings that can streamline and simplify the entire production process.
SmartRatings generates automated and dynamic excitement ratings, alerts and headlines which are designed to both match and enhance the viewer’s mood and excitement level.
Both platforms use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to read and interpret live audio and video feeds in order to determine excitement levels and to identify the most interesting moments of the analyzed games.
