Sportradar Selects Jim Brown as Head of Integrity Services

Leading global sports technology company, Sportradar, announced on Wednesday that it hired former NCAA executive Jim Brown. He was appointed as head of integrity services and harm prevention for North America at Sportradar.

Former NCAA Executive Jim Brown to Spearhead Sportradar’s Integrity Efforts

In his new position, Brown is going to report directly to Sportradar’s managing director of integrity services, Andreas Krannich. By taking key roles, Brown has accumulated significant experience in risk management, business process evaluation and design, sports risk mitigation, and strategy development.

Back in the 90s’, Brown served in the US Marine Corps for four years. He is a Bachelor of Science and Finance from San Diego State University. Moreover, he holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame in 2002.

Within his professional career, Brown has held key management roles at the NCAA for eight years between 2014 and 2021. For nearly six years served as a director, while from September 2019 until December 2021 Brown was managing director of enterprise risk management.

Besides the NCAA, Brown has taken key roles as a part of Anthem Inc, where he was a part of business development but also served as director internal auditor. Moreover, he was also a part of CNO Financial Group where he served as a senior internal auditor. His professional experience includes tenure at Premier as well as Ernst & Young as contract analyst and auditor respectively.

Joining Sportradar Is Exciting, Says Brown

In a statement, Brown said that the continuous growth of sports betting around the US has accelerated the need for integrity services. He added that it is exciting to join Sportradar, considering that the company sets the standard for the industry. Brown added that he is going to contribute with the “development of existing and new offerings that will both protect the integrity of competitions as well as safeguard the well-being of athletes.”

As new sports betting markets open up across the US, the need for robust and resilient integrity services has never been greater.

Sportradar’s managing director of integrity services, Andreas Krannich, added that integrity is a complex process. He explained that the process is driven by technology and combines regulation and education. In conclusion, Krannich said that Sportradar is thrilled to have Brown who has a track record that reaffirms his success within the integrity field.
