Sportradar Integrity Services and Athletes Unlimited announced today a multi-year integrity services agreement to underscore the leadership role of Sportradar’s integrity division in North America.
Multi-Faceted Integrity Deal
The long-term agreement reached between the Swiss-based provider of integrity solutions to sports organizations worldwide Sportradar and Athletes Unlimited also outlined the growing share of women’s sports in the marketplace.
“We are thrilled to partner with global industry leader Sportradar as we continue to expand our betting platform for our fans. We are committed to building a legitimate and safe experience that will help us generate increased interest in our sports leagues while preserving the integrity of our play.”
Nicole Pawlak, Senior Director, Special Projects, Athletes Unlimited
Sportradar Integrity Services will cover four areas of activities to ensure Athletes Unlimited’s competitions are protected from match-fixing and betting-related corruption, including monitoring and reporting of betting activities via its Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS), providing education and prevention services, conducting an integrity audit, and engaging in intelligence and investigation services.
“By choosing Sportradar as its integrity partner, Athletes Unlimited is taking a critical and proactive step in safeguarding its brand and business, as its competitions continue to grow and attract more interest from fans.”

Expanding Role in Women’s Sport
The new arrangement expands on Sportradar’s portfolio of women’s sports organizations spanning across basketball, soccer, tennis and golf, as well as collegiate sports and affirms the sports data and integrity services supplier’s commitment to support the entire women’s sports ecosystem.
“We look forward to supporting them with our industry-leading integrity products and services and being a part of their exciting journey as they revolutionize how women’s professional sports are organized and experienced by fans,” Exley concluded.
The agreement with Athletes Unlimited is the third new deal Sportradar Integrity Services entered within the space of less than a month since it appointed former NCAA executive Jim Brown to spearhead its integrity efforts in North America.
First, Sportradar’s integrity division teamed with the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) to ensure the league’s integrity by utilizing its fraud detection tools to monitor all CHL three member leagues, the Western Hockey League, Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, and Ontario Hockey League.
Also in January, Sportradar Integrity Services signed two-year agreement with the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) to deploy its state-of-the-art UFDS and monitor betting activities and identify unusual betting patterns and suspicious behavior.
In Europe, Sportradar extended an existing collaboration with the European Handball Federation (EHF) to continue the strong growth of its integrity services in 2021.
In November, Sportradar’s UFDS was deployed to monitor betting activity around matches from two European basketball leagues, the Slovak Basketball Association (SBA) and the easyCredit Basketball Bundesliga (EasyCredit BBL), while an existing agreement with the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB) was enhanced in December.
