Scientific Games has appointed Mona Garland as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. She will be part of the company’s executive team and will help the company build up its talent acquisition retention and development strategies. Garland will also oversee the overall people strategy, diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as work on employee-focused programs.
Garland Brings 25 Years of Experience with Her
She is an important addition to Scientific Games with her 25 years of related corporate experience. Previously, she has worked for companies such as Brambles and General Electric and her newest position will see her oversee more than 3,000 employees. Scientific Games CEO Pat McHugh was pleased with the appointment, and he emphasized that people and workers are Scientific Games’ real assets.
Garland is an important addition to the team, McHugh stated, outlining the new appointee’s qualities, and adding that she is a dynamic leader with a passion for helping organizations evolve and talent flourish. McHugh added:
