Digital sports betting and gaming company Rush Street Interactive (RSI) continued with efforts to popularize its brands and products by adding former professional baseball manager and player Bobby Valentine as a brand ambassador.

The agreement between RSI and Valentine will see the former New York Mets manager participate in the exclusive network and social media content for the operated by RSI BetRivers.com and PlaySugarHouse.com gaming brands, partaking in a weekly Major League Baseball video, podcast, TV, and radio interviews.

With decades of experience in professional and collegiate sports, Valentine brings significant knowledge from the world of baseball to both gaming brands, offering them new ways to engage with fans of the sport in the digital gaming space. RSI launched sports betting operations in Connecticut in October 2021 and Valentine is eager to start interacting with sports fans and bettors in his home state.
Sporting and Media Career
Besides the Mets, Valentine has spells as a manager for the Texas Rangers, the Boston Red Sox, and the Chiba Lotte Marines in Japan on the international stage. As a player, he was featured with the jerseys of four Major League Baseball (MLB) teams, the Los Angeles Dodgers, California Angels, New York Mets, and Seattle Mariners.
His professional career also includes eight years serving as the executive director of athletics at Sacred Heart University and was an All-State football player in his home state three times.
Outside of the playing field, Valentine performed as an analyst and announcer for Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN and NBC Sports, as well as a contributor to Sirius.
