The agreement will include a new multi-media, multi-market advertising campaign, which will kick off with the launch of the 2021/22 season.
Premier Bet Becomes AC Milan’s Official Betting Partner in Africa
Online gambling operator Premier Bet is becoming the official betting partner of Italian Serie A football club AC Milan for the region of Africa. The start of the partnership will be marked by a new multi-media and multi-market advertising campaign, which will coincide with the beginning of the new season. The start of the 2021-22 Serie A season is scheduled for August 22 with a match between AC Milan and Sampdoria.
This “new and exciting partnership” will provide AC Milan with bigger exposure to fans in the African continent, which already enjoys many Rossoneri supporters. Fans will also have the opportunity to win exciting prizes, access first-rate content and premier experiences.
Casper Stylsvig, chief revenue officer, AC Milan, expressed his excitement about Premier Bet becoming part of the team’s family of partners. Stylsvig said that the partnership deal would help AC Milan boost its presence in the African continent, which is an important market.
“We are aware of AC Milan’s popularity in the region, which has been built over the years also thanks to some fantastic African players that have played for the Club and can’t wait to do more in the region to connect our brand to its African fanbase.”

Betting Companies Unable to Set Up Online Platforms in Rwanda
Back in May, betting operators present in the Republic of Rwanda, including Premier Bet, signaled about unexplained obstacles related to their efforts to launch virtual platforms while physical venues are closed.
A number of betting operators said that the sector’s regulator, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, failed to provide them with the needed support to set up online gaming activities. Some of the challenges involved in the transitioning to virtual platforms include inadequate policies, lack of consultative forums, and gaps in the framework governing the sector, the operators say.
