Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas Reopens

The famous casino-resort Planet Hollywood reopened its doors on Thursday, October 8. In a statement, Caesars Entertainment outlined that the venue follows strictly all health and safety protocols ensuring the well-being of both employees and guests.

Planet Hollywood Reopened Its Doors for Visitors

Thursday, October 8, the famous Planet Hollywood resort and casino on the Las Vegas Strip reopened doors. The casino-resort reopened its doors after being shut for approximately seven months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The gaming floor has resumed daily operations.

Presently, the hotel will accommodate guests staying for the weekends, from Thursday through Sunday. The celebratory reopening show included dances as well as a surprise appearance by the famous actor and producer of the hit television show “Black-ish,” Anthony Anderson.

In a statement, Caesars Entertainment outlined that the casino-resort is reopening following strictly the health and safety directives set by the Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak and the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Now reopen, Planet Hollywood joins Caesars Palace Las Vegas, Flamingo Las Vegas, Harrah’s Las Vegas, Paris Las Vegas, Bally’s Las Vegas, and The LINQ Hotel, which have already reopened their doors.

Only Two Las Vegas Properties by Caesars Remain Closed

We are overjoyed to welcome our loyal guests and dedicated team members back to Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, the centerpiece of the famous Las Vegas Strip,” said Jason Gregorec, Senior Vice President and Planet Hollywood General Manager.

He concluded by saying that once again, guests at the casino-resort can enjoy unique experiences while the operator continues to  enhance its health and safety protocols.

The amenities which reopened include Gordon Ramsay Burger, Pin-Up Pizza, Ringer Wings, Pizza & Sliders Sports Bar, Starbucks (located in the lobby and casino), Heart Bar, Extra Lounge, and more. Planet Hollywood Spa welcomes visitors as well as the newly branded William Hill Race & Sports Book. Retails PH 24 and PH Need It have also reopened while the Miracle Mile Shops have already reopened on June 9.

Currently, there are only two properties by Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas that are yet to reopen – The Cromwell and Rio. In its statement, the operator said that it will reopen the remaining Las Vegas properties “in line with customer demand, regulatory requirements and any additional health and safety considerations“.
