Parx Interactive has become the official casino partner to the Pittsburgh Steelers and plans big things for the season ahead.
Parx to Help Pittsburg Steelers Build Deeper Fan Engagement
Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment has become the official multi-year casino partner for the Pittsburgh Steelers ahead of the upcoming NFL season, due to begin next week. The Parx Interactive owner has positioned itself in a way that appeals to the sports fans of the most popular Pennsylvania sports team and beyond, and one of the NFL’s five oldest franchises.
Similar to previous arrangements, Greenwood will seek to establish numerous activations and marketing opportunities that will target Steelers supporters and lead to better engagement, loyal fan bases and more. Greenwood is also launching a season-long promotion called “The Ultimate Steelers Fan” that will allow a fan to claim the grand prize, an all-expenses-paid trip for two to each away game the team will play this season.
The Steelers and Greenwood are going to promote the offer through digital, social and other media channels and ensure that it reaches fans. Commenting on this new opportunity, Parx iGaming and Sports SVP at Parx Interactive Matthew Cullen said that the company was eager to tap into the Steelers’ passion for sports and their favorite team.
An Opportunity for New Fan Experiences with Fans
Parx Interactive is adding more activations and synergies between the sports and online casino worlds that the company believes will appeal to Steelers’ fans. A similar refrain was taken up by Steelers VP of sales & marketing Ryan Huzjak who welcomed the opportunity.
“We’re excited to bring Parx Interactive into the fold as a proud online casino partner,” Huzjak said. He added, “We think Steelers fans will enjoy the Parx Interactive platform and the opportunity to compete for unique Steelers prizes and experiences.”
Naturally, Parx Interactive will have access to the full list of team signage. The Steelers have not shied away from iGaming and sports gambling partnerships in the past. The team struck a sports partnership with Unibet earlier in August. Meanwhile, Parx gained market access to Michigan after the Gaming Control Board approved its license at the beginning of the month.
