Paola Menachem Joins Maxima Compliance As Director Of Regulatory And Licensing

As a leader of the regulatory and licensing team, Menachem will help the company facilitate its customers when entering new markets or maintaining already existing ones.

Maxima Compliance Fills a Number of Strategic Positions in 2020

Maxima Compliance, full service regulatory and technical compliance provider for the betting and gaming industry, announced the appointment of Paola Menachem as director of regulatory and licensing. Menachem is joining the company from conversational intelligence provider Omilia, where she worked as an external counsel.

In her new role at Maxima Compliance, she will be in charge of the regulatory and licensing team and will report directly to managing director Antonio Zanghi.

Zanghi added that the expertise of Menachem as one of the leaders in the field will help the company support the growth of its regulatory compliance services. Menachem has more than 20 years of experience in the legal and regulatory operations within the gaming industry, 16 of which she has spent in the leading gaming solutions supplier Intralot.

Maxima’s new director of regulatory and licensing said that what attracted her to Maxima Compliance was the team of exceptional compliance professionals.

In 2020, Maxima Compliance grew its team with a number of additions, such as Francesco Bianchi serving as director of compliance operations, María Romero de Alba as senior business development manager, and Dafydd Williams as head of business development, leading the commercial strategy of its recently launched Complitech platform.

Complitech Platform Strenghtens its Position as the Industry’s Unique Analysis Tool

Complitech allows its users to download, sort, analyze, and compare more than 10,000 technical compliance requirements from 27 regulated online gaming jurisdictions. Customers are able to conduct an automated gap analysis between various markets to identify new opportunities or to define a strategy when entering a new market.

At the end of October, Complitech added Greece to the list of its jurisdictions and is set to enrich its database with full technical compliance requirements from Germany and the Netherlands soon.

Francesco Bianchi, director of compliance operations at Maxima Compliance, said that it was a big achievement to reach such a big number of jurisdictions in only six months when the platform was launched.

Bianchi added that Complitech not only facilitates the process of expanding into new regulated markets, but its analysis tools is designed to help customers identify new strategic business opportunities.
