Ali Ghanavati and Marybeth Butler Join Odds on Compliance
The company revealed it added the industry expert Ali Ghanavati as its new director, technical compliance. Additionally, Odds On Compliance hired the services of the auditing expert Marybeth Butler as its new director, revenue audit. Hiring the services of the two experts strengthens the company’s senior leadership team. Currently, Odds On Compliance is a leading technology and consultancy firm that provides its services to online gambling and sports betting operators in the US, Canada and abroad. The company helps operators comply with regulations within different jurisdictions and offers a variety of services.

Odds On Compliance’s CEO and co-founder, Eric Frank, said that the company is delighted to see Butler and Ghanavati join its leadership team. He explained that each of the two brings a significant experience in the industry. Last but not least, Frank said that by hiring the services of the two experts, Odds On Compliance strengthens further its compliance team.
The Duo Brings Extensive Experience and Invaluable Knowledge
Overall, Ghanavati has more than three decades of experience within the gambling industry. He started his career with the gambling regulator in New Jersey, the Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) back in 1984. During his 24-year tenure with the gambling regulator, Ghanavati held different positions including chief engineer and deputy chief, technical services bureau.
Moving to the private sector, he was a part of Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), a company that offers high-quality land-based, lottery and iGaming testing and assessment services. Ghanavati was a part of GLI for 13 years and during that time he oversaw strategic aspects of the gambling industry such as business development, technical compliance and market research. Most recently, Ghanavati was a part of Fubo Gaming where he served as director, head of regulatory technology and was in charge of product compliance.
On the other hand, Butler also has extensive experience in the gambling industry. Similarly to Ghanavati, she was a part of the DGE as well. She spearheaded processes related to the sports betting regulatory framework in New Jersey while at the same time was in charge of audit and revenue certification teams.
Butler’s career started back in 1987 when she started as an auditor for the New Jersey Casino Control Commission. Throughout the years, she quickly climbed through the ranks and started to lead a revenue certification team in 1995. Butler has extensive knowledge and invaluable experience within the gambling industry as she witnessed its growth in the last three decades.
