NOVOMATIC Adjusts Lineup with Ludena and Gubo Appointments

NOVOMATIC’s digital gaming division, Greentube, has appointed Felipe Ludeña as its chief sportsbook officer and Georg Gubo as managing director at ADMIRAL Sportwetten. Ludeña joined Greentube on August 1, 2022, and is currently serving as managing director at ADMIRAL Sportwetten. Both companies belong to the NOVOMATIC Group of entities.

Executive Shifts in NOVOMATIC Improve Know-How Exchange

Ludeña took a seat with the company’s board as the two companies sought to strengthen their collaboration. Gubo will also combine his existing position as managing director at ADMIRAL Sportwetten and his current position as Greentube’s COO.

These tweaks to the executive lineup should be able to further empower ADMIRAL and Greentube as they seek to expand their clout in online entertainment. Ludeña who is now referred to as chief sportsbook officer at Greentube and managing director at ADMIRAL Sportwetten had this to say:

I am honored to be appointed as the company’s first Chief Sportsbook Officer. While Greentube has a vast heritage in online gaming, we want to engage players across a variety of different online verticals in future months and years.

Gubo also welcomed this opportunity and said that there were clear synergies between ADMIRAL and Greentube and the further exchange of know-how will allow both companies to continue their growth.

“On a personal note, it’s a privilege to join a company as prestigious as ADMIRAL as Managing Director and I believe the future is bright for all involved,” Gubo noted. Greentube has been moving quickly across different jurisdictions as well.

Earlier in August, the company secured a license to launch in Ontario, Canada. The company also sought to expand its presence in the Belgium iGaming market through a deal with Circus.
