Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention Comes to Caesars Forum in Las Vegas
The National Indian Gaming Association chose Caesars forum in Las Vegas to host its Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention. Set to launch next week Monday, the event marks the first Indian Gaming Tradeshow after an 18-month pause due to the global pandemic.
Indian Gaming Tradeshow Arrives in Las Vegas
The National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA) has announced that it will host its first post-pandemic Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention next week. The event is going to take place at the brand new Caesars Forum convention center in Las Vegas.
The event was unfortunately paused for more than 18 months due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. In April of last year, NIGA planned its conference in San Diego, but unfortunately, the event was canceled in light of the pandemic. Now, the Association’s 35th convention and trade show rolls out next Monday, July 19, and is set to run for five days.
“It will once again be an outstanding opportunity to meet industry leaders, have access to cutting-edge trends.”

As noted, Caesars Forum, Caesars Entertainment’s newest 550,000-square-foot conference center, is going to host the Association’s event. The conference center features a 300,000-square-foot convention area, which is conveniently situated next to luxury hotels such as LINQ Hotel + Experience, Flamingo Las Vegas, as well as Harrah’s Las Vegas.
Plenty of Hot Topics to be Discussed at the Inaugural Event
NIGA’s event will include multiple industry hot-topics, such as marketing, politics and policy. Furthermore, the gaming conference will feature industry-leading education topics on enterprise development, hospitality, as well regulation and compliance. There will also be discussions regarding sports betting, which may prove to be the hottest topic of the gaming conference. Last but not least, conference visitors will witness a demonstration of new networking opportunities, products and services.
Earlier this month, Ernie Stevens Jr, chairman of the Association, visited the Caesars Forum. With excitement, he revealed that the Association is glad to host the first major Indian Country event since the pandemic. Stevens added that NIGA “is open for business, and we want to welcome all to join us as we celebrate the endurance and resilience of our industry.“
Indian Gaming Attendees to Meet With NCAIED, RES
Besides the tradeshow, on Monday evening at Drai’s Nightclub at Cromwell Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, a welcome reception for the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (NCAIED) will take place. At that reception, attendees of the Reservation Economic Summit (RES) will meet with attendees of Indian Gaming 2021.
On that topic, Stevens said that NIGA is excited to collaborate with NCAIED, which represents RES. He acknowledged that both organizations have had a successful long-term partnership. Furthermore, Stevens did not miss saying that they are both committed to “enhancing the economic advancements for Indian country.“
Besides Stevens, Victor Rocha, conference chairman, also shared his excitement in a recent interview with CDC Gaming Reports. Rocha revealed that one of the most important topics at the conference is going to be the recovery from COVID-19 and its effect on employment, hospitality and gaming. Additionally, he outlined that sports betting is another hot topic that will be discussed, along with the importance of understanding the market and players.
