IGT Expands Washington Foothold Through Kalispel Tribe Deal

International Game Technology, a producer of slot machines and gambling tech solutions, has inked a multi-year partnership with the Kalispel Tribal Economic Authority.

IGT Will Power the Kalispel Casino Sportsbook

The agreement will help IGT expand its reach and offer its sports betting solutions in Washington. As per the deal, IGT will support the opening of Kalispel Casino’s upcoming retail sportsbook venue by providing it with its cutting-edge sports betting technology and trading advisory services.

This will mark yet another land-based venue where IGT PLaySports, the provider’s proprietary tech, and trading advisory services, is available. Presently, the solution has been launched in more than 60 retail shops across the United States.

It is already available at the Kalispel-owned Turf Club Sportsbook in Northern Quest Resort and Casino in the city Airway Heights through previous a previous deal with the Washington-based tribe.

IGT’s solutions are available in many other countries as well. Currently, the provider serves various operators in more than 100 countries across the globe.

The Tribe Welcomed IGT

The Kalispel Tribal Economic Authority is one of the Kalispel Tribe of Indians’ agencies. The Kalispel Tribe itself is the owner of several casinos in Washington, including the Kalispel Casino in Cusick, Washington, where IGT’s solutions will be launched following this latest deal.

Kevin Zenishek, the executive director of casino operations at Northern Quest Resort and Casino spoke on the new deal, welcoming the expanded partnership between the Tribe and IGT. He said that the Kalispel Tribe is excited to launch sports betting for its Kalispel Casino guests.

Zenishek pointed out that sports betting is already proving to be a great addition to the Northern Quest Resort and Casino, which is why he is sure that it will be just as popular in the Kalispel Casino.

Joe Asher, the president of sports betting for IGT also spoke on the expanded partnership with the Kalispel Tribe. He mentioned that IGT is pleased to further its sports betting momentum while strengthening its relationship with the Kalispel Indians.

IGT has been bullish on expanding across North America. Two weeks ago it signed a five-year contract extension with the Canadian lottery operator Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation. In January, the provider’s cashless solution received approval for launch in the US state of Nevada.
