FanDuel Now Has Access to NFL Data Through Renewed Sportradar Partnership
Daily fantasy sports operator FanDuel has extended its partnership with sports data and content provider Sportradar. The partnership was announced earlier this week. Under the extended deal, National Football League (NFL) official data will be accessible by FanDuel.
The two companies have had a good business relationship for quite a few years now. Just last year, following another deal expansion, FanDuel increased its portfolio of live streaming of sporting events. Sports that were added on FanDuel’s mobile application included darts at the time, tennis, European soccer, Korean baseball and more.
Last year, Sportradar renewed their media partnership with NASCAR. Under the extended partnership, Sportradar was sharing live data by NASCAR to high-end media partners such as the Associated Press and Bleacher Report.
FanDuel hasn’t stopped expanding. Last year in August, FanDuel struck a deal with Major League Baseball (MLB). Under the deal, FanDuel was deemed as an Authorized Gaming Operator of MLB. Most recently, FanDuel inked an important multi-year partnership with NFL franchise the Denver Broncos. As per the partnership, the daily fantasy sportsbook is the team’s official sports betting partner.
CEOs Comment on The Extended Agreement
FanDuel’s general manager Niall Connell commented on the exciting news: “We’ve been long-time partners with Sportradar, a company that shares a unique vision of engaging with sports fans, so extending the depth of our partnership with Sportradar was a natural next step.” Connell did not miss to say that Sportradar’s data will help them greatly in establishing a better and more accurate product. Thanks to the new data streams, will be able to further improve the experience of its clients by providing even more accurate and time-sensitive betting odds and lines.
Sportradar’s vice president of US sales, Neale Deeley, also shared his excitement by saying that FanDuel has been an “excellent partner“. Deeley noted that Sportradar is glad to expand their business relationship with FanDuel. Furthermore, Deeley noted that FanDuel remains a gaming industry leader which continues to delivers superior content to its partners and clients. In conclusion, he pointed out that he is looking forward to the successful future of the two companies working together.
