FanDuel Launches SG’s OpenSports Platform in 10 US States
After launching SG’s OpenSports platform in Tennessee and Michigan last month, FanDuel has now reportedly added four more US jurisdictions. The operator launched SG’s technology platform in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Iowa and Virginia, adding the OpenSports platform to a total of ten US states.
SG’s OpenSports Platform Reaches More US States
In April, the sports betting technology provider Scientific Games launched its OpenSports platform with FanDuel for customers in Illinois and Indiana. The two states became the third and fourth US jurisdictions where FanDuel has launched SG’s technology. Last month, SG and FanDuel went live in Tennessee and Michigan, as well, which indicated that SG’s proprietary technology was now available in six states.
Now, according to SBC, Flutter Entertainment’s FanDuel brand is live in four more US states with SG’s OpenSports technology. Officially live in ten US states, the sportsbook recently rolled out the technology for sports fans in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Iowa and Virginia. So far, the collaboration between the two companies proved to be immensely successful, which will undoubtedly result in expanding and launching SG’s technology to more US jurisdictions.
FanDuel and SG Continue to Build On Their Successful Collaboration
SG’s Group CEO of Digital, Jordan Levin, shared his excitement by acknowledging that the OpenSports platform offers stability and scalability. According to him, those two factors are incredibly important for big operators. Levin added that SG is incredibly proud to be live with its OpenSports platform with FanDuel, one of the biggest operators in the industry.
Additionally, he stated that the success so far is a “real testament to our technology that FanDuel has entrusted us as a valued partner in multiple markets.” In conclusion, Levin revealed that SG is excited to continue growing its collaboration with FanDuel and deliver “unmissable betting experiences.”
Undoubtedly, SG is solidifying its presence as a gaming technology leader and the most recent announcement proves this as well. In that line of thought, late last month, the company was named exclusive instant game provider of the Portugal National Lottery. As a result, for three years, SG is going to bring innovative instant game content for Europe’s fourth-largest instant games operator.
