Caesars Sportsbook Adds Kenny Mayne as Ambassador

Caesars Sportsbook has tapped ESPN sports insider Kenny Mayne who will join the operator as a brand ambassador and content creator. Mayne will be tasked with a number of day-to-day duties, including penning and producing original sports content that will resonate with Caesars’ established betting audiences.

A perhaps forgotten fact about his career is that he was an usher at Caesars Palace and employed by the facility during the Larry Holmes and Muhammad Ali boxing bout back in 1980.

Mayne is Happy to Be Back with Caesars Team

He will use the brand’s multiple channels to distribute his work and will also appear during live events and participating in the company’s overall marketing efforts. Mayne admitted that he was stoked to work with Caesars and that his team had ideas to come up with new ways to engage with the audiences, and specifically:

“Our intent is to do some fun things related to Caesars Sportsbook, the history of Caesars, and the sports bettors who engage with Caesars.”

Commenting on his career choice, Mayne said: “Now I’m back at Caesars. It’s like one of those stories you read about on the Internet about a dog that gets lost and finds his way back thousands of miles on foot. Who doesn’t love dogs? Who doesn’t love home dogs.”

Caesars is confident that they have made the right choice bringing Mayne onboard. Caesars Digital co-president Chris Holdren added: “We are thrilled to welcome Kenny back to the Empire. There is nobody that looks at the world of sports quite like Kenny, and we believe his vision for storytelling perfectly aligns with our mission of treating sports fans like royalty.”

Caesars has been very active in the sports betting landscape. The company signed a three-lateral partnership with the Baltimore Ravens and the Horseshoe Casino. Similarly, the company added a multi-faceted data content deal with Genius Sports.
