Aristocrat Leisure Limited to Acquire Roxor Gaming

The global gaming content, technology company and mobile games publisher, Aristocrat Leisure Limited, announced it agreed to acquire the leading B2B online Real Money Gaming (RMG) supplier, Roxor Gaming.

Aristocrat Boosts RMG Expansion via New Acquisition

The acquisition was announced Monday and will see Anzo Group’s subsidiary, Roxor, become a part of Aristocrat. The RMG supplier has a vast affiliate network, a significant experience within the RMG field and currently offers its services in the UK and US markets. What’s more, currently the company has a team of more than 100 dedicated professionals in the UK. 

Roxor’s Remote Game Server (RGS) and publishing technology will accelerate delivery of Aristocrat’s strategy to grow and scale in online RMG,

Taking over Roxor, Aristocrat is expected to further boost its growth within the RMG sector by onboarding new specialists. Although the acquisition was announced now, it is expected to be finalized at some point in the first quarter of next year. It is important to mention that the combination is subject to regulatory approvals as well as closing conditions. Aristocrat explained that the transaction will be funded from “existing cash, and the transaction is not expected to have a material earnings impact.” 

The Combination Brings Excitement to Aristocrat, Roxor

According to Josh Morris, Roxor’s general manager, the combination came at the perfect time for the company. He explained that Roxor is looking forward to growing further its partnerships in both the UK and US markets. Morris acknowledged that Aristocrat has significant experience and heritage within the industry. In conclusion, he pointed out that the combination is expected to bring significant success

Noel Hayden, Roxor’s co-founder, added that he is delighted to see the two companies join forces. He pointed out that Aristocrat and Roxor fit each other perfectly. Hayden acknowledged that in the last two decades, the company developed unique games while at the same time building a strong and dedicated team.
