NFL Legend Mike Ditka Joins BetRivers
Rush Street Interactive, Inc. has become the latest company to secure a new ambassador, with former Chicago Bears player and coach, and NFL Hall of Famer, Mike Ditka joining the team. The partnership will span several years and will involve Ditka exclusively representing the company’s BetRivers.com brand, which is the Bears’ official and exclusive sportsbook partner.
Ditka had 12 seasons with the Bears and later became the team’s coach, as well as received Hall of Fame recognition, putting him in at the very summit of the football world. He’s also one of two players to have won the Super Bowl title as a player, assistant and head coach, and he did some analytical work for ESPN and NBC, weighing in as commentator.
RSI president Richard Schwartz was happy with Ditka’s addition to the team. According to him, this constituted an important step forward for the brand and was an opportunity for BetRivers.com to make another step forward in consolidating its standing with football fans.
“We are honored to partner with one of the greatest coaches in NFL history; someone who has deep roots in Chicago and is one of the most important figures in modern sports and culture,” Schwartz said.
Straight from the Horse’s Mouth
Ditka has been successful on every level of professional football, and his addition to the BetRivers family would give the brand another boost with NFL fans. Ditka will also represent BetRivers.com as a spokesperson, adding to his responsibilities but also the potential reach he may generate for the brand.
Commenting on his appointment, Ditka said that he had a simple philosophy, “to win.” He praised BetRivers for its dedication to developing lasting and trusting relationships with its players and added that he was looking forward to further strengthening those bonds.
“Mike Ditka certainly knows how to win the big game. He was an NFL champion with the 1963 Bears and is a three-time Super Bowl champion, winning as an assistant coach for the Cowboys in Super Bowl XII and coaching the Bears to victory in Super Bowl XX, and we’re now proud to have him on our winning team,” Schwartz added, describing Ditka’s extensive successes in professional football.
