Global entertainment and hospitality operator MGM Resorts International announced a new addition to its ranks as Jeff Mochal joined the company as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications.

Former LPL Financial Senior Vice President for Marketing and Communication Jeff Mochal will be based in Las Vegas and tasked with responsibilities around corporate communication and strategic positioning, forming management strategy on leading issues and media relations, as well as internal communications and messaging strategies related to social impact and sustainability for global issues affecting the company.

Bringing decades of industry experience to his new company, Jeff Mochal will be reporting directly to MGM Resorts Senior Vice President of Public Affairs, promoted to the role Ayesha Molino.
Molino, who will be responsible for the company’s overall public affairs strategy and oversight of MGM Resorts’ corporate communications and government affairs programs, will report to the company’s Executive Vice President and General Counsel John McManus.
Professional Background
At LPL Financial Jeff Mochal was in charge of public and media relations, communication with employees and advisors, corporate social responsibility, crisis and issues management, as well as research and new store sales marketing.
Mochal’s CV also features senior communication roles at ConAgra Foods, Hardee’s and McDonald’s, where he spearheaded efforts for the US and global public relations strategy for the Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Ronald McDonald, Happy Meals and the ‘I’m Loving It!’ campaigns.
The new SVP of Corporate Communication at MGM Resorts holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Northern Iowa and a master’s in business administration from the University of Notre Dame.
