MGA Grants Edict Egaming GmbH Supplier License, Ontario Is Next

The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has issued a brand-new license to online casino supplier edict egaming GmbH which is now a licensed entity under Maltese gambling laws. Owned by Gauselmann Group, the supplier will have the opportunity to provide new partners with content across regulated and licensed markets in the European Union and other regions that are covered by the MGA permit.

Gauselmann Builds up Maltese Footprint

This comes on top of a previous license that Gauselmann’s affiliate, edict Malta Limited, obtained several years prior and builds up the company’s reputation in the regulated market. This tops the licenses that edict already owns from other regulators, including the Isle of Man’s Gambling Supervision Commission, and the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. The company is also a licensed entity by the UK Gambling Commission.

Commenting on this new license, edict egaming GmbH CEO Dominic-Daniel Liénard said that the company was very happy with the license accreditation and confirmed that it would empower the company’s further reach and growth. Liénard specifically said:

We are proud to have been granted a further MGA license and will continue to obtain B2B licenses wherever this is possible in regulated markets. We are planning to expand our presence in North America and will soon apply for a license in Ontario.

The future of edict egaming GmbH is clearly global, as the company is doubling down on efforts to expand in markets that it sees as relevant to its future success as a business. Having already operated with a Kahnawake license, breaking ground in Ontario will be an important step forward.

Ontario Is Next on edict egaming’s Crosshair

This comes in the context of local regulators in the province urging a final warning to unregulated entities to quit the Ontario market by October 31 lest they have the necessary licenses to operate as a completely legitimate entity.

Edict egaming GmbH is committed to ensuring that it meets these criteria, although the company has not revealed at what point it intends to try and secure the license.
