Lottoland Appointed Jon Hale as Chief Financial Officer
Online lottery products operator Lottoland announced today a new addition to its managerial team with the appointment of former 32Red chief financial officer Jon Hale.
Wealth of Gaming Experience
Jon Hale joins Lottoland as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with immediate effect, having spent more than 11 years at another Gibraltar-based gaming brand, 32Red, the company’s press release outlined.
“I am delighted to announce that we have appointed Jon as our new Chief Financial Officer. Jon brings with him a wealth of gaming experience and knowledge that we will benefit from as we continue to grow and deliver on our strategy.”
Nigel Birrell, CEO, Lottoland
During his more than a decade-long stay at 32Red, Jon Hale was the key personnel behind several corporate transactions, including the company’s £176 million ($249 million) acquisition by Kindred Group in 2017.
Jon Hale, who qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers back in 1998 prior to joining the high roller land-based casino operator Capital Corporation, will be reporting directly to Lottoland CEO Nigel Birrell.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Lottoland team and can’t wait to meet everyone and get settled in. Having been based in Gibraltar, I’ve seen first-hand how Lottoland has developed and grown, and I really admire how they have done so in such a short space of time. I look forward to working with Nigel and the team as the Group continues on its growth journey.”
