Long-Anticipated Venom Fever Launches This Weekend on October 2

Catching the flu or a cold this autumn certainly won’t be a fun experience. But there’s one fever that poker fans would gladly go for, the Venom Fever poker series, set to start this October.

October 2 Marks the Start of Venom Fever

The special series of satellites start on October 2 and will run through October 30, 2022. With a value of $2,650 for each seat, there are 1,000 guaranteed seats to the $5 million Venom PKO. This marks one of the biggest online poker progressive knockout tournaments. It is the first out of four Day 1’s starts on Thursday, October 20, 2022.

The Venom PKO is a special bounty tournament. Each player starts the tournament with a preset bounty for their head. Whenever one poker player takes out another poker player, they collect 50% of the target’s bounty, while the other 50% goes on the hunter’s head. In other words, once one player eliminates another, the winner collects half of the bounty of the eliminated player while the other half adds to their bounty. With each day of the tournament, bounties will keep getting bigger and may even reach six figures.
