Kambi Inks Deal with Tribal Operator Ilani, Enters Washington State

The leading B2B sports betting platform provider of premium sports betting technology, Kambi Group Plc, announced its entry into Washington State via a newly signed sportsbook agreement.

Kambi Signs Sports Betting Agreement with Ilani

The company said Wednesday it joined forces with a tribal operator called Ilani. The operator was developed by the Cowlitz Tribe in collaboration with Salishan-Mohegan, which is a collaboration that also includes the leading gaming and entertainment developer and operator Mohegan Sun. The terms of the new deal see Ilani leverage Kambi-powered on-site sportsbook at a casino located in Washington State. The recent collaboration sees Kambi’s leading sportsbook platform enter one of the largest casino properties in the state that offers 100,000 square feet of gaming space. Thanks to the new deal, Ilani will benefit from the B2B developer’s leading sports betting services and award-wining technology.

Kara Fox-LaRose, Ilani’s president and general manager, revealed that the operator is excited to add sports betting to its list of amenities available for visitors of the venue. By adding sports betting, the venue introduced a new form of dining entertainment via its brand new Stadium Sports Bar & Grill outlet, she explained. According to Fox-LaRose, visitors of the venue can expect memorable experiences by watching sports on the largest video wall in the region.

Mohegan’s CEO and president, Ray Pineault, added that the company expected the arrival of sports betting to Washington for a long time. He pointed out that the Mohegan is excited to see Kambi offer its leading technology and sportsbook to Ilani. Pineault said that that company is looking forward to seeing Ilani leverage Kambi’s leading technology which in turn will help the venue become a go-to location for sports fans in the region.
