Jacks.nl Joined the International Betting Integrity Association
The Dutch gambling company Jack’s Casino & Sports (Jacks.nl, Jack’s) has taken the next step in its evolution as it got admitted in the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA).
Jacks.nl Joined the IBIA
The wagering brand has become the fifth sports betting operator in the Netherlands to join the IBIA. The country launched its regulated market a few months ago, kicking unlicensed offshore operators and only allowing a few licensees in. Jack’s is currently one of the only seven companies that offer to bet on sports.
Jacks.nl’s move to join the IBIA is in line with the Netherlands’ gambling regulations which rule that every operator that provides online gambling offerings must be a part of an international integrity monitoring body. The majority of the Dutch licensees are already a part of the same association.
The IBIA is a globally-renowned company and has information partnerships with gambling authorities in numerous jurisdictions. The association’s main goal is to curb problem gambling, money laundering, and gambling-related corruption. It uses various tools, such as an alert platform and anti-corruption systems that automatically detect and report fraudulent activity.
Through the addition of Jacks.nl, the IBIA will broaden its reach, helping to maintain the integrity of the Dutch gambling market.
IBIA Stands for a Healthier Gambling Ecosystem
Eric Olders, the chief executive officer and chairman of Jack’s parent company, JVH Gaming & Entertainment group, spoke about the operator’s admission into the IBIA. He said that the whole of Jack’s team feels proud to join the association and take a stance against fraud in sports betting. He called integrity a key value for both sports and sports wagering.
“It’s essential for athletes and essential for our customers. It’s the basis of our “license to operate”. With the help of the IBIA’s data, potential malpractices can be spotted at an early stage, this enables us to act instantly,” Olders emphasized.
He added that Jack’s decision to work with the IBIA is a testament to JVH’s dedication to creating a safe environment for all bettors and athletes.
In February this year, the IBIA extended its reach to North America. Its foray into one of the fastest-developing markets was met with delight by some of the most renowned operators in the sector. At the beginning of March, the IBIA signed a historical partnership with the Canadian Gaming Association, as the two promised to keep the industry clean.
Several days ago, the IBIA also extended its hand to Colombia, inking a deal with the local operator Fecoljuegos.
