More and more land-based casino operators look towards the digital space to differentiate their market exposure amid the ongoing health crisis, with the latest being Hard Rock International (HRI). The Seminole Tribe-owned gaming and hospitality brand announced Tuesday Hard Rock Digital would be established as part of the operator’s commitment to expand its portfolio in high-growth markets.

Exclusive iGaming and Sports Betting Vehicle
The new joint venture will utilize vast amount of experience of gaming industry veterans and is set to become the exclusive iGaming and sports betting global vehicle for both Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming (SGA). Both business entities have a combined customer database of more than 130 million players and global presence via almost 250 land-based venues across 76 countries, which provide an outlet to offer omni-channel gaming and betting.

Impressive Executive Team
HRI Chairman Allen will chair the newly-formed Independent Board of Directors for Hard Rock Digital, which will oversee the management function in the organization. Rafi Ashkenazi, Hard Rock Digital Executive Managing Director and Executive Chair, will join the company in 2021 after a garden leave period. Marlon Goldstein will take the role of Executive Managing Director and CEO, while Matt Primeaux will be Executive Managing Director and President.
