September is turning out to be an important month for Genius Sports. The supplier of official sports data and data-driven technology solutions and acquisition tools for the sports betting industry announced a new partnership deal with another high-profile US sportsbook. And this is just the tenth day of the month.
Official Data, Content and Fan Engagement Tools
The long-term partnership Genius Sports agreed to with Penn Interactive, the online gaming arm of US casino operator Penn National, to provide the brand’s Barstool Sportsbook with official data and fan engagement solutions marks another significant strategic agreement for the supplier of official sports data and data-driven content.

A Boost to Barstool’s International Offering
Barstool Sportsbooks will also receive Genius’ full portfolio of international official sports data the supplier distributes via its partnerships with other top-tier sports leagues, including the English Premier League, Mexican LigaMX, Argentine Football Association (AFA) and Colombian soccer league DIMAYOR.
Genius Sports will also partner with Barstool Sportsbook to support its marketing and fan engagement strategy by providing the online sports betting brand with its player acquisition, engagement and retention tools.
The agreement with the brand running online Barstool Sportsbooks in nine US jurisdictions came hot on the heels of official data and content agreement for 888’s SI Sportsbook, an extension of an existing supplier agreement with Wynn Resorts’ online gaming brand WynnBET, and multi-faceted official sports data and content deal with US casino giant Caesars Entertainment.
