GAN struck an agreement with Cordish Gaming Group under which the company will power the new “PlayLive!” platform.
GAN Signed a Partner Agreement with Cordish Gaming Group
The gaming software giant GAN signed an agreement with Cordish Gaming Group for online operations in Pennsylvania. Under the agreement, GAN will be powering the new “PlayLive!” platform available for two new branded facilities in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Furthermore, GAN will also power the “PlayLive!” branded website as well as a mobile application.
The first facility is located in the Stadium Entertainment District in the City of Philadelphia and it’s named Live! Casino & Hotel. It features some 2,200 slot machines as well as more than 150 live action table games. The second casino is positioned near Pittsburgh in Westmoreland County. The venue features excessive of 100,000 square feet gaming area with some 750 slots games and around 30 live action games. Besides the casino the location will also supply dining facilities as well as entertainment spaces.
The two new Live! casinos are expected to open later this year. The “PlayLive!” users will gain access to interesting online slots games as well as non-traditional casino games. Pennsylvania users will also gain access to the Live! Rewards Players Card.
GAN and Cordish Gaming Group Heads Comment on the Partnership
GAN Limited CEO, Dermot Smurfit commented that the company is delighted to have such a professional relationship with a partner of such high rank. In his words, this is not only applicable for Pennsylvania but also for the whole United States.
Cordish Gaming Group President Robert J. Norton also commented on the subject by saying that GAN was the logical provider for the enterprise needed. He continued by saying that with the extend of Cordish into the online channel, the company actually observes increased loyalty among the players.
Last week the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) released the re-opening protocols for the state. Although the minimum requirements were set, PGCB did not release a date for the reopening of the state’s casinos. Similar to other states, Pennsylvania plans to implement strict social distancing protocols, enhanced sanitation and social distancing in order for the state casinos to restart business.
