GameScorekeeper to Power Transient’s Blockchain Betting
Esports data solutions provider GameScorekeeper announced it added another partnership to its portfolio, having signed a deal with blockchain technology business Transient.
Esports Data to Power Blockchain Betting
The partnership between GameScorekeeper and Transient will ensure the blockchain platform is provided with extended coverage of esports data to power automated market creation and settlements to its blockchain community.
“Transient is excited to take another significant step in its journey into the gaming and esports community by partnering with leading esports data provider GameScorekeeper. This partnership is critical to enabling our esports dApp (currently in development) to provide an expansive offering to our community.”
Beau Olson, CEO, Transient
In addition to the automated market creation and settlement, GameScorekeeper’s esports data will allow Transient users to create their own esports betting markets and compete with other propositions in the esports betting industry.
Stressing the existing GameScorekeeper partnerships with leading esports betting operators, Transient CEO Olson expressed confidence that Gamescorekeeper’s “highest data integrity” will serve as the “fuel” for Transient ‘s “betting engine.”
‘The Best Environment’
“We believe that social betting and content-driven experience is the key to entertaining the esports community,” Olson added, expressing the company’s belief that it “can create a next level experience” built on GameScorekeeper’s data, as well as collaborate with GameScorekeeper’s team to come up with “the best environment” for Transient users.
“We’re delighted to be working with such an experienced team and exciting business. Transient is developing a very interesting product which we’re confident will be a great success and as with all our customers, we’re committed to supporting them every step of the way.”
Marc Burroughes, CCO, GameScorekeeper
Transient Esports dApp will deliver a real use case for GameScorekeeper data on-chain, representing a significant change in the esports and blockchain scenario that was never done before in blockchain technology projects.
Besides match and tournament data, Transient will gain access to GameScorekeeper’s expansive range of esports data, including individual player statistics and stream URLs, to allow for high customer personalization and appeal to the demographics of the esports fan.
