The Charity Commission, Britain’s charity regulator, approved several new additions to the board of the Young Gamers and Gambling Education Trust (YGAM). All new members are experienced professionals who will be a great addition to the team.
Five Members Join YGAM’s Board
YGAM has the charitable mission to inform, educate and protect the youth from the dangers of problem gambling. As such, the body is always seeking to do its best and provide young people across Britain with the gambling education they need. To that end, it added five seasoned experts to its board.
One of the new additions is Anna Greaves. Greaves has 14 years of experience in the field of fundraising and will provide the YGAM with her valuable expertise. She is no stranger to good causes and is currently working for Crisis UK, a charity that supports homeless people in Britain.
Another new addition to the team is Clive Reeves, who has years of experience with esports advertising. With esports as one of the fastest-growing betting verticals, Reeves will bring important insights to the team.
David Miller is the next member joining the YGAM. He is an elite marketing specialist who works as a marketing, gaming and digital content advisor at War Child, a non-governmental organization that seeks to support children who have been affected by armed conflicts.
Likewise, Glen Frendley, the next new member of the YGAM, is a seasoned charity veteran with 25 years of experience in the charity sector. He has worked for some of the most notable charities, including the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and WWF.
The final member is Paul Morris, who currently serves as VP of business risk management for State Street Corporation. As someone well-versed in business, Morris will help the YGAM with its initiatives.
Wojcik Welcomed the New Board Members
Mike Wojcik, chairman of YGAM, welcomed the five new trustees to the charity. He said that he is happy to reinforce the body’s team with such talented professionals.
They are joining the board at a crucial time as we build on our reputation as a sector-leading education charity and develop our ambitious new strategy which will be launched at the start of 2023. It’s already apparent that the newly revitalized board will achieve great things in supporting the excellent staff team to achieve impact our social purpose.
