Daily fantasy sport and sportsbook operator FanDuel Group announced in a press release today the appointment of David Jennings as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Switching from Dublin to New York

New CFO Jennings will be responsible for all of FanDuel Group’s finance functions, overseeing financial planning and analysis, strategy, accounting, procurement, tax and treasury to ensure the smooth running of the company’s Sportsbook, Casino, Racing, Daily Fantasy, and Retail divisions, as well as its corporate functions.

“David is a consummate financial executive who brings valuable institutional knowledge to FanDuel, and I’m delighted to welcome him to our leadership team.”

Jennings brings to FanDuel invaluable experience across investor relations, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and corporate finances gained at parent company Flutter Entertainment where he served as Group Director of Investor Relations and FP&A, after a period of leading the Corporate Development team.

“As we continue to grow our business and increase our market share, David will bring a keen eye for how we can continuously improve our financial approach and discipline, a hallmark of Flutter and FanDuel’s strength.”

Following his new appointment, holder of a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business from Trinity College Dublin Jennings will be switching Flutter’s headquarters in Dublin with FanDuel’s headquarters in New York.
