Scientific Games content will debut on Exact Systems’ Historical Horse Racing (HHR) platform in Virginia.
Historical Racing System by Exact Gets SG Power-up in Virginia
Exacta Systems has signed an agreement with Scientific Games (SG) that allows the company to take industry-leading content from SG’s award-winning game cabinets and integrate it with the Exact Historical Horse Racing (HHR) system.
The offer is now available to Virginia residents who love to visit historical racing machines and don’t mind exploring additional gamification options.
Virginia does have a few bugbears of its own when it comes to gaming legalization and particularly skill-based games, but historical horse racing seems in the clear.
Commenting on the occasion of the partnership, Exacta Systems CEO Jeremy Stein said that the company was thrilled to be teaming up with Scientific Games and bring it to the historical horse racing market.
“Given that their games are top performers in casinos throughout North America, we expect them to be very popular with our customers in HHR,” Stein added. His enthusiasm was shared by Scientific Games CRO Bob Parente, who praised the integration with Exacta Systems.
“It is a terrific opportunity to bring Scientific Games’ world-class content to historical horse racing in Virginia,” Parente concluded.
Historical horse racing has been a contentious issue for some jurisdictions, including Arizona. Akin to slot machines, this gamification option is accessible and popular and still gathering momentum.
Virginia’s love and mild regulatory climate allows Exacta Systems to continue growing its product and reach and for Scientific Games to reach new audiences who may not have been aware of the company’s titles in the past.
Exacta Systems teamed up with IGT in Virginia to help the company launch the first IGT historical racing machine (HRM) across gaming venues owned by Peninsula Pacific Entertainment.
