Evolution has revealed the launch of its new studio area in New Jersey which will exclusively serve Penn Interactive, a company owned by Penn National Gaming, Inc, and the Barstool Sportsbook brand Penn acquired. The launch will scale the live game supplier’s production capabilities and deliver on new live casino experiences in the Garden States for its partner brand.
The studio, which will operate out of Evolution’s existing live studio area, has been named after the Penn-owned entertainment brand and will be known as Barstool Sportsbook & Casino. This move marks the latest expansion for Evolution which has been scaling up its production capacities amid growing demand for iGaming products in the US.
Presently, Barstool offers live casino services across numerous states with the help of Evolution live casino studios based in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. The partnership between the two companies will be further strengthened when NetEnt, an Evolution-owned slot maker, will launch its distinct products throughout the Barstool Sportsbook & Casino in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Bringing More Partner Brands to Penn Interactive
Red Tiger, which was acquired by NetEnt prior to its acquisition by Evolution, is also set to debut in Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania in Q4 2021. Commenting on this event, Evolution commercial director for North America Jeff Millar had this to say: “We are delighted to continue to build on our very strong relationship with Penn Interactive.”
The companies have worked together to create a bespoke live casino experience, Millar noted, and that will allow Barstool to provide a customized product as a result. “We very much look forward to rolling out our industry-leading mix of live games and slots to Penn players in further states,” he explained.
Penn Interactive head Jon Kaplowitz argued that Evolution has proven its ability to deliver a range of quality online casino products quickly to new markets, making them an ideal partner for the company, as Penn is looking to scale rapidly throughout the United States.
The Barstool-branded studio allows the company to further enhance the level of experience for customers and develop Barstool’s own expertise in iGaming. This development comes only a day after Evolution introduced live games with Betway in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
