Gaming technology provider Everi Holdings announced Kate Lowenhar-Fisher was appointed as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer – General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, effective March 22, 2021.
Legal and Regulatory Compliance Affairs
The new appointment is subject to regulatory approvals, but once in the role, Lowenhar-Fisher will be tasked with legal and regulatory compliance affairs at the supplier of digital casino gaming products and technology. Kate Lowenhar-Fisher will report to Everi Holdings chief executive officer Michael Rumbolz.

Lowenhar-Fisher has more than 18 years of casino gaming industry experience serving in a corporate legal and regulatory compliance role at gaming equipment suppliers and operators of casinos.

Extensive Gaming Industry Experience
Her most recent role, an Equity Member at Dickinson Wright, allowed her to advise clients on gaming issues including financing, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions and online gaming, while chairing the Gaming & Hospitality Practice Group at the law company.
Lowenhar-Fisher also served as a shareholder at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, prior to joining Dickinson Wright, in a period of her career when she specialized in gaming law and commercial transactions.

Kate Lowenhar-Fisher’s contribution to the gaming industry includes the writing of the definitive book on casino gaming law in the US, “Gaming Law and Practice”, after she was part of the legal team which wrote the 2016-2020 editions of the book.
Holder of a BA in International Relations from Stanford University and a JD from the Emory University School of Law Lowenhar-Fisher is also a member of the International Association of Gaming Advisors and the International Masters of Gaming Law, and is sitting on the boards of the Grant a Gift Autism Foundation and the Nevada PEP.
Kate Lowenhar-Fisher is the first high-profile addition the gaming products and technology supplier added to its ranks since the departure of its executive vice president of sales, marketing and digital David Lucchese who stepped down in January to join the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) as president.
