Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma Goes Metaverse with Casino Project
The Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma and Lucky Lady Games have teamed up to create a metaverse-powered online gaming experience that will be available in the state and linked to the tribe’s land-based operations. To make this a reality, the two companies are working on a project that will add flair and excitement to the tribe’s most prominent property, Indigo Sky Casino & Resort.
Tribal Casinos Joins the Metaverse
According to the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma, global audiences will be able to access the new genre of innovative titles available at the property. Lucky Lady Games CEO and founder Sandra Wong welcomed the forward-thinking approach adopted by the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma and its commitment to seeing this project through. Wong added:
The team at Lucky Lady Games is very excited to be collaborating with such a future-thinking tribe to build something never seen before in Web3 gaming.

The launch of IndigoSky Online, as the project is called, will be focused on both off and on-chain casino gaming and integrations that will be directly tied to the casino resort’s physical gaming floor. It’s an important chapter not only in the history of Indigo Sky Casino & Resort but also in the evolution of the landscape gaming market in the United States.
The project is set to go live in the first half of 2023, and it will see the Eastern Shawnee Tribe seek to leverage innovation to stand out from competitors who are also exploring ways to launch in the digital gaming space. Tribe treasurer Justin Barrett was excited at the opportunity to see this project through for a chance to help redefine the gaming industry:
We strive to be leaders in the gaming industry, and this allows us to engage with our customers in a new and exciting way.

Barrett also thanked Lucky Lady Games and Wong for helping build the platform that will now underpin the company’s further efforts in digital gaming.
