Opening Ceremony Available Via a Simulcast

The two casinos will host opening ceremonies celebrating the two new sportsbooks, with Seattle Mariners Great and Baseball Hall of Fame member Randy Johnson making an appearance at Tulalip Resort Casino. Quick Ceda Creek will celebrate the event with Seattle Seahawks icon and Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Steve Largent. Interested sports aficionados can watch the official ceremonies with DraftKings executives and tribal leaders representing Tulalip Casino with the help of a simulcast that both casinos will make available.

What Will the Two Sportsbooks Bring for Bettors?

For starters, guests are promised a fully immersive experience focused on their exact needs at both locations. The sportsbook hosted by Tulalip casino will spread across more than 5,000 square feet, with a massive 800-square-feet screen where sports lovers will get the chance to watch up to ten simultaneous live sports events. The sportsbook will also host 20 sports betting kiosks with 10 extra kiosks located on the casino floor, along with four over-the-counter windows for placing bets. The casino floor kiosks will also provide bettors with a generous food and drinks menu. Tulalip resort casino’s DraftKings sportsbook manager Brandon Jones spoke about the DraftKings team’s commitment to excellence. He also expressed their intention to provide “local sports fans an experience that can’t be beat.”

Aiming to take the brand’s “existing world-class gaming experience to a new level,” DraftKings is prepared to introduce new guests with the new additions to both properties starting September 20.

As for the sportsbook that will be located at the Quil Ceda Creek Casino, it will host 20 different kiosks for placing bets, as well as three over-the-counter betting windows. Apart from the added wine bar, sports bettors will also have the chance to watch their favorite events on a screen measuring 896 square feet.

DraftKings’ senior director of retail sportsbook operations Michael Kibort called the two chosen casinos “preeminent entertainment destinations in the Pacific Northwest.” He also mentioned that each of the new locations will offer locals and tourists “an unmatched in-person gaming experience” on a 24-hour basis, all year long.

At the beginning of the year, DraftKings and the two selected casinos announced an exclusive agreement for retail market access in Washington. In August, DraftKings announced it would open a new sports betting restaurant in Michigan.
