David Farahi Becomes Part of AGS Board of Directors

American Gaming Systems (AGS) has appointed David Jacques Farahi as a member of its Board of Directors. Farahi will also become part of AGS’s committees on governance, compensation, and audit.

Farahi Has Extensive Experience in the Gaming Industry

Currently, Farahi holds the position of executive chairman at slot analytics company Quick Custom Intelligence. His previous position as a chief operating officer at Monarch Casino & Resort spanned over nine years. His work experience in the gaming industry started at Monarch in 1998. However, in between, he shifted to the finance industry with various positions at HSBC’s branches in London, Geneva, and New York in the period from 2004 to 2007. Farahi also has experience as president of the Colorado Gaming Association where he stayed for four consecutive terms in the period 2015 – 2021.

Recently, he also started his university career by becoming an adjunct professor at Metropolitan State University Denver. AGS CEO David Lopez has welcomed Farahi to the AGS board and has praised him for his significant experience both on the side of operator and regulator within the gaming industry. Lopez sees Farahi as a very valuable addition to the company. He expects him to contribute considerably to the effectiveness of AGS’s operations, and the strengthening of the company’s relationships with clients and partners within the casino operators’ space.

Furthermore, Farahi comes to AGS with a Columbia Business School MBA and a bachelor’s degree in economics and International Studies he completed at Northwestern University.
