Jackpocket and the Dallas Mavericks have officially announced their multi-year partnership through which fans will be provided with VIP experiences merchandise, as well as lottery tickets. With the announcement, Jackpocket will be the official mobile lottery partner of the Mavericks and all fans have to do to win tickets is to type in the code “MAVS” in the lottery provider’s app.
The Rewards Will BE Available Monthly Via Sweepstakes
Mavericks’ fans will be able to claim the rewards of the first licensed third-party lottery app in the US in the form of sweepstakes, which will take place every month. The owner of the Mavericks, Mark Cuban, stated that he’s been following the momentum of Jackpocket and concluded that what the company is doing is extremely innovative and it is a “natural and fun evolution for lottery play.”
Cuban also stated that Jackpocket’s innovative approach is what makes the partnership so good and that he’s excited to bring all of the lottery platform’s features to Mavericks fans in Dallas.
On the other hand, the CEO of Jackpocket, Peter Sullivan, stated that this partnership is a great way to provide the Mavericks fanbase with a new and exciting way to play the lottery. He also added that Jackpocket has been proud to provide Texans with mobile lottery since 2019 and the latest development, which will allow the company to expand, is something that he’s delighted to see.
The Deal Is The First NBA Digital Lottery Partnership in Texas
In total, this is Jackpocket’s 4th sports-related deal, after partnering with the NHL, NFL, and college athletics organizations. What makes the partnership with the Mavericks so special is that it represents the first NBA digital lottery partnership in Texas.
So far, Jackpocket’s platform has had over $32 million in winnings and 300,000 individuals that won lottery tickets in Texas. A YouGov survey also indicated that around 12% of the Mavericks fans play the lottery each day.
As for the deal, Jackpocket will also be provided with sponsorship and branding opportunities. One of them is free throws in the American Airlines Center.
Jackpocket continues its innovative approach towards lottery games. In November 2021, it announced that its Series D funding managed to collect $120 million in financial support for future lottery endeavors.
Apart from serving Texas, the lottery platform is also operational in Washington, DC, New York, Ohio, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Colorado, Minnesota, Arkansas, and Ohio.
The Dallas Mavericks, on the other hand, are a well-established NBA team that have won four division titles, the NBA Championship in 2011, and were conference champions on two different occasions ever since the 1980-1981 inaugural season.
