EPL franchise Wolverhampton Wolves has teamed up with the world’s leading Bitcoin lottery operator, Crypto Millions Lotto, to mint a landmark partnership in sports sponsorships.

English Premier League (EPL) club Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. has signed up a partnership with the world’s leading Bitcoin lottery, Crypto Millions Lotto.

Moving forward, Wolverhampton will be the ‘Official Online Lottery Partner’ for the operator. This is one of the few partnerships to feature a cryptocurrency companies, after numerous sports betting partnerships have been signed between traditional bookmakers and other football clubs.

A Groundbreaking Partnership for Bitcoin Sponsorships

Wolverhampton are also becoming outliers and creating opportunities for other cryptocurrency and blockchain companies to try and strike partnerships with some of the most profitable sports organizations worldwide.

Crypto Millions Lotto is currently focusing on expanding across multiple strategic regions, including Asia, Latin America, Canada, Russia, and CIS, the press release stated.

Apart from boosting awareness, the partnership is in fact helping Bitcoin become a more widely-accepted means of trade. Both the operator and the Wolves are interested in having Bitcoin popularized across various walks of life.

Commenting on the partnership, Crypto Millions Lotto CEO Sulim Malook said the company was delighted to have found an important partner in the country, describing the Wolves as a ‘crypto-friendly club’.

Wolves own commercial director, Steve Morton, had the following to say on the occasion:

“We’re delighted to partner with Crypto Millions Lotto, an ambitious company that is keen to increase its exposure with the help of Wolves’ global reach across various platforms. We’re also excited to develop our relationship, which will also see the Wolves brand reach new audiences in Eastern Europe and South America.”

Not Quite the First Sponsorship

Blockchain-powered platforms have been very keen on finding high-profile partners with whom to spread awareness about their brands. In June 2019, another English team, Watford signed a similar partnership with one of the most popular sports betting operators to offer bets with cryptocurrency – Sportsbet.io.

Recently, Sportsbet.io followed up with another similar alliance with Brazilian football club Flamengo. Sportsbet.io also sponsored CONIFA 2019 Cup in a bid to further boost its exposure.

Meanwhile, gambling businesses in the United Kingdom agreed to a voluntary pre-watershed ban, refraining from displaying betting ads in the specified period.

Crypto Millions Lotto runs outstanding jackpots to the tune of $2.5 million worth of Bitcoin. Participants do not need to buy a ticket to take part in the draft.
