This partnership is forged out of an ongoing relationship between PointsBet and NBC Sports. The sportsbook is the official betting partner for the popular sports network and Simms is a natural continuation of this alliance.
More Betting Expertise Landed to Mainstream Media
PointsBet has already been able to leverage its partnership with NBC Sports, introducing betting products to the Peacock Sunday Night Football Final show and the Football Night in America show.
NBC Sports Next EVP of digital and sports consumer business Will McIntosh said that Simms’ perspective on football is always welcome and he would make a great fit in any new formats explored between NBC and PointsBet.
McIntosh is confident that thanks to Simms insight and understanding of football, he will be able to drive better engagement with viewers of any of the programming that is currently running or maybe running at one point.
Previously, NBC Sports launched simulcast betting with PointsBet and added Sara Perlman as an official betting host for its NBC Sports EDGE show.
