US gaming and entertainment giant Caesars Entertainment announced that its official online wagering platform, Caesars Racebook, is now available for Android and as a desktop version.

Important Step in Growing the Platform

The news that Caesars Racebook is now available for users of Android-based devices and desktop comes just in time for the 2022 Breeders’ Cup, allowing horse racing fans in Kentucky, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, Oregon, Montana, and North Dakota expanded access to the high-profile horse racing event.

Commenting on the announcement, Dan Shapiro, senior vice president and chief development officer at Caesars Digital outlined that giving Android and desktop users access to Caesars Racebook is considered a key step on the path of continued growth for the platform.

“We’re excited to offer even more customers a horse racing wagering experience that treats them like royalty,” he added, referring to the company’s loyalty program, Caesars Rewards.

The integration with the awards-winning Caesars Rewards program provides an additional impetus for players, building on the full horse racing wagering menu and live streaming from racetracks around the world by offering fans of horse racing to exchange the points they earn for free wagering credits and past performances in the Caesars Racebook store.

Caesars Rewards is offering Caesars Racebook players the opportunity to earn 4x the Racebook Points for every $1 wagered on races at Caesars Entertainment racetracks throughout 2022. A first match-up bonus of up to $300, going to $500 in Ohio, is available to new Caesars Racebook customers.

The Partnership with NYRA Bets

Caesars launched its horse racing wagering platform in partnership with the New York Racing Association (NYRA) in June this year, offering pari-mutuel wagering on horse racing content from more than 250 tracks around the world, as well as betting on marquee tracks in the US and internationally.

Caesars Racebook is luring fans of horse racing with wagering options not only for the upcoming Breeders’ Cup at Keeneland but also races at Aqueduct, Belmont Park, Saratoga Race Course, Gulfstream Park, Del Mar, Santa Anita, and Caesars-operated racetracks, Harrah’s Hoosier Park, Horseshoe Indianapolis, Harrah’s Philadelphia, and Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs.

Pending regulatory approvals, Caesars is planning to expand the footprint of its horse racing wagering platform into additional states, as well as introduce the additional benefits of NYRA Bets such as race replays, handicapping insights and others.

As part of its commitments to the horse racing industry in the US, Caesars Entertainment is planning to build and operate a racetrack and casino in Columbus, Nebraska, under the Harrah’s brand.

The casino giant also extended its hosting of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association’s National Handicapping Championship through 2026.
