Bragg Gaming announced on Tuesday that it hired the services of Lara Falzon. The industry veteran, Ms. Falzon will join the company’s Board, effective from March 1, 2021.

Bragg Gaming Group, the B2B gaming technology provider, announced on Tuesday that it hired the gaming industry veteran Lara Falzon. She was elected by the company to serve as a part of the Board effective from March 1, 2021. As a gaming industry veteran, she brings significant experience in the gaming sector relevant to Bragg. Currently, Falzon is employed by NetEnt as an operational chief financial officer (CFO). She also serves as CFO at Red Tiger Gaming.
Her professional experience includes positions as group CFO at Evoke Gaming Ltd. Falzon has also served as a group financial controller at King. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Malta. Furthermore, Falzon is also a member of the Association of Chartered Accountants.

Besides experience in the financial sector, Falzon also has experience in listing on the NASDAQ. This is precisely one of the goals which Bragg Gaming has set for 2021. As a CFO at Red Tiger, she helped in the 2019 acquisition of the company to NetEnt in a deal for over $315 million. Consequently, only recently, NetEnt revealed that year-over-year, its earnings increased by 58%. Furthermore, the company’s revenue in the U.S. market skyrocketed by 313%.
Another key role that Falzon played was during the sale of NetEnt to Evolution last year. The deal with a price tag of $2.1 billion was completed in December 2020. Moreover, Evolution recently reported record growth of revenue that jumped 48% for the first nine months of the year, reaching $462 million.
