Shortly after bringing Botaga Sprin Poker Open to a full stop, the hotel casino has announced a new exciting poker competition for July – enter the Borgata Summer Poker Open.
Bortaga Summer Poker Open Dates Announced
Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa has announced the upcoming Borgata Summer Poker Open, an Atlatnic City-based live poker option scheduled for July 9. With the official schedule yet to be fully announced, the Buy-in for the open will cost potential entrants $600.
The event is coming just after the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event Day 1, offering an opportunity to players who have changed their mind about the WSOP bracelets to have a poker outlet.
The BSPO will offer $500,000 guarantee and the event will take place between July 9 – 13. A Championship event will follow on July 21 with participants battling it out through the following ive days until July 26. This leg of the comeptition will come with $1 million guarantee.
Players looking to gain entry into the Championship will be able to do so through a series of online satelitte events that will start at $5 and run from June 23 right up to the event itself on July 21.
With the recently concluded the Borgata Spring Open and $4.5 million going in the way of various winners and Florida man, David Jackson, claiming over $300,000 in cash prizes from the big event.
Between Now and Then: Live Poker Action in May & June
While players have to wait another two full months to sit down and start hitting the higher-paying tables, Borgata has announced a series of online and live events to help aspiring poker professionals advance their bankrolls.
A new Sit & Go lederboard promotion has been announced ofering participants to play for up to $2,000 per game. Next week , the casino will run the DeepStacks Challenge Series fom May 13 – 17.
At the end of May, players will get a chance to roll into the $250,000 Summer Kick-Off Series which will be taking place fom May 25 – 28.
