There’s Always Plenty of Fish in the Sea

Reel Big Fish is yet another spectacular slot release from the team that constantly creates  “fascinating, intelligent, and engaging games” with one-of-a-kind game mechanics and graphics. Blue Guru Games’ commercial manager Kristian Hassall spoke about the “strong ideas,”  “narratives” and “stunning audio-visuals” that the studio is known for, explaining the team’s idea to return to Earth after the release of a spectacular slot with an octopus-invading-the-planet theme. Hassal added the Blue Guru crew had planned to release a fishing-themed slot for a while, based on the idea that no one truly believes a fisherman’s tale.

The game also gives players who cannot wait to naturally reach the bonus round the chance to use the buy bonus option. This way, they can jump straight into the bonus round while taking their pick from three different levels of bonus-buy alternatives counting three, four, and five scatters.

Free Spins and Golden Scatters

When a minimum of three scatter symbols appear on the reels, they automatically trigger free spins. At the same time, the Golden Scatter symbol engages the third-level column. Next, a meter placed above each of the reels will display a number between 0 and 3. With each new scatter, the respective number will increase above its corresponding reel. In total, the game counts three different levels of fish values, all collected with the help of these activation columns. A Golden Scatter symbol can instantly boost the value of a meter to 3, triggering free spins. Each new scatter symbol also adds a fresh free spin.
