Betsson has expanded its reach in Latin America once again by positioning itself as the official and exclusive sportsbook partner for the upcoming 2022 CONMEBOL Copa América Feminina, which is due to start next week. The sportsbook and betting company has secured an important position as it will promote the female soccer competition and seek to raise its own profile as well as that of Copa América.
Betsson Backs Female Soccer in Latin America
Betsson will have access to various event assets and leverage them to ensure that its presence is seen and felted. The company will feature across stadiums, digital channels, and media backgrounds. The company will have access to digital and video content and footage to leverage it in its own dedicated marketing pushes. Betsson will further be represented in the event as an official sponsor t the Official Lineups events. Commenting and welcoming the opportunity, Betsson CEO Jesper Svensson said:

Svensson added that the league and organization are already fully committed to making sure that women are well-represented in the sport. At least 42% of the CONMBEBOL’s officials and 55% of its managers are female. Another 18% of the organization’s directors are also female. The executive added that 40% of its own workforce identifies as female.
Opportunity to Help Female Sport Grow Regionally
The recent partnership is a follow-up from 2021 one during which Betsson was selected as the official regional sponsor for the Men’s Copa América. The news was naturally welcomed by CONMEBOL commercial and marketing director Juan Emilio Roa who added the organization was thrilled to see Betsson endorse the Women’s competitions.
This partnership comes from a shared vision between CONMEBOL and this prestigious company of boosting women’s football across South America with strong participation of girls, young adults and women.
